Peter Dinklage Plays Mr. Dragonfly in The Death of Peter Dinklage
Peter Dinklage Plays Mr. Dragonfly in 'The Death of Peter Dinklage'The role of Peter Dinklage in the television series Game of Thrones has been generally lauded. He is a fine actor and also lends his voice to a huge cast of characters on the show. He comes across as very warm and gracious, particularly when speaking about his role in the show. But his scene with Sean Bean in the fourth season of Game of Thrones was perhaps his most popular on the show.In the episode 'The Lands of Ice and Fire', we are introduced to a man who enjoys the adventure sport of ice fishing. The character of Mr. Dragonfly is played by Peter Dinklage. His catch of the day is a large stingray. The catch is given to Peter Dinklage by Sean Bean's character, Admiral Karsi. At the end of the episode, Peter Dinklage takes the stingray to his trailer, to celebrate the biggest catch of the day.In the character's trailer, he opens a treasure chest containing gold coins and an ornate chain. Peter Dinklage, played by Se an Bean, picks up a ring that Sean Bean had given him before the shoot-out in the episode 'A Storm of Swords'. This scene was so well done that fans immediately started wondering if Peter Dinklage and Sean Bean were actually brothers!Sean Bean picked up the pearl necklace and a huge pearl, which was later found out to be 99.99% pure! I am going to have to say this might have been the biggest pearl ever found, and Sean Bean was the lucky one to get it!While Peter Dinklage was walking off with the necklace, his actor Sean Bean followed him, and there was a brief confrontation between the two. Sean Bean then grabbed the pearl necklace, and Peter Dinklage followed, and they proceeded to walk off together. The episode ended with both actors walking away, as the camera followed them in the frame, and the pearl necklace fell out of his pocket. It was such a great scene and is likely to be a future collectible piece, especially if you have seen the show.In another episode, Peter Dinklage wor e a pair of earrings that were silver, and they were very similar to the pearl necklace, but different enough from it that it was confusing. Peter Dinklage's character, Salladhor Saan, is in a sequence of scenes that is similar to a scene from the film 'The Lord of the Rings'. The character is played by Alan Rickman, who did a superb job, and was able to portray a dark, mysterious character in the show. The act of having an actor perform for destiny is very exciting. That two actors chose to be brothers is fascinating, and very moving. Sean Bean is now on stage in Broadway in 'Cymbeline', while Peter Dinklage will soon be seen in his third movie, 'Jurassic Park: The Lost World'.
